Good morning from Oz.
If you can read this that means that I didn't die on my first day of driving on the other side of the road in the other side of the car.
It is a beautiful morning. This apartment is very nice. OK..so I wasn't going to mention it but we are moving here.
The first tidbit of information that I will pass on to you that I have learned since being here is in regards to that wonderful food item most of us learned about through that popular song by Men at Work. The mysterious Vegemite Sandwich. Cue song:

Just one word can describe that experience................DON'T!!!
Another surprise came yesterday as we rode around with Greg Stonehouse and in giving directions he said to "Follow your nose". Another happy throwback for me.
I had no idea that the Australia pigeon is the Cockatoo. They are everywhere and I have been trying to box up a few to sale in the States for $500 each. Who knew?
Went for a wonderful walk along the beach this morning. Just spectacular views everywhere.
even through a hole in a seashell sculpture.
Then after two days of searching found our house.
ha.
Then it was off to Eramboo to meet with some of the people that are doing the workshops.
Such a wonderful group that are very rooted in the area and full of great information regarding local issues that should be addressed.
Back to the apartment, walked around Manly for a bit and off to the College of Fine Arts for the panel discussion on Public Art..
Dinner in Paddington after the discussion and then a wonderful tour of Sydney by Susan and Greg.
